I love Arizona in March. It brings beautiful weather, people-watching, socializing and continuous art festivals.
Saturday I spent my day volunteering at the Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival with my husband Perry, Arizona Luxury Real Estate. This show was the first of many art shows happening in the area and I just love them. All of the creative people in one general area, waiting to finally make all their hard work worth it! To show the world!
Carefree’s Fine Art & Wine Show was sponsored by the Thunderbird Artists and if you missed it, don’t worry, they will show again in Fountain Hills March 18-20, 2011. The Thunderbird Artists have a spectacular show of over 165 nationally acclaimed and award winning artists. For an extra bonus these festivals have live music, wine tasting, food venues and excellent people watching! For information on the art, artists and upcoming shows visit: www.thunderbirdartists.com

I stopped in my tracks when I walked by this shoe store.
Look at the extremely large “red lampshade” over the cashier counter. What a way to warm up store design and create a visual!! The lighting was just right for the picture and the tech blue wall and floor color makes this light fixture pop!!
Another great out of the box idea!! I love these!!
My daughter and I went on the A.I.A. (Architects Organization) Phoenix Home Tour today and it was amazing. What inspi
ration!! I never realized the architects here in Arizona had such talent. It gave me so many ideas!! Talk about thinking outside the box!! I wish I could live the day over again and take some great pictures….to view all of the things that put me in awe!! Thank you Phoenix A.I.A. Organization for doig this. (BTW – I did try to say thank you in an email on your website, but I think your having email issues because it wouldn’t send)
Also, from a mom perspective, this gave me a way for my daugther and I to connect and with lifes busy times, we need to take these opportunities when we can get them!!
