These clients had lived in their Kierland home for several years and felt it was time for a refresh. Having recently built a sleek, modern house in Canada, they wanted to bring that same style to this residence. During our initial meeting, it was clear the home felt dated and dark—something we all agreed needed to change.
Our plan focused on opening up the floor plan by removing as many walls as possible to create a light, airy flow. To further connect the indoors with the outdoors, we replaced the back windows with expansive stacking doors, flooding the space with natural light and enhancing the indoor-outdoor living experience.
This transformation took the house from an “ugly duckling” to a stunning modern retreat. I enjoyed working on this project!
